Mr. & Mrs. Davenport

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

Meet Emily & James Davenport.  They were married August 13th, 2011 in Carlock, IL with a wonderful Christ-centered ceremony.  It’s the very best thing at a wedding seeing two people come together with the the right focus and love for each other.  The Lord is definitely at work in these two and I’m excited to see where He takes them!

Emily is the queen of details – each and every thing was thought out and reflected their style.  Check out the creative ‘guest book’ they had!  The gray bridesmaid dresses is one of my favorite looks & these girls showed them off wonderfully!  Also, little did I know how fun it is to be surrounded by corn fields and windmills!  Not quite the look you usually get in Nashville ;)

Enjoy the photos, friends!  These are not ones you want to miss…

Bridal/Groomal Session

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Yep, you read right.  Groomal Session.  It’s the best word we could come up with in this scenario.  You see, Rachel & Brett wanted a lot of fun, creative photos of themselves in their wedding attire and realized that’s practically impossible to count on they day OF your wedding.  Granted, you have some time with just the bride, groom, and photographer on your wedding day but you rarely two full hours!

This is where the great idea came into place.

Why not include Brett in on Rachel’s bridal session?  They had their ‘first look’ overlooking the beautiful Bell Buckle hills of Tennessee – what a sweet moment!  Needless to say, after shooting and experiencing this session, we would all highly recommend this new trend.

Ashley Sanders

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

Check out this adorable girl!  Remember the name because Ashley is coming out with a book soon!  She needed headshots for the new book – and get this – she’s only 16!  She said it started out as a school project and soared from there!  It’s a Christian fiction book for teenagers – the title is A Week in the Life of Lillian and Dillian.  When the website is ready, I’ll be sure to include that info for everyone.

Even though she just needed headshots, we took a few full length just for fun :)

My goodness – she looks amazing!

Best luck to you, Ashley!  Can’t wait to see (and read) the finished product!
