Alyssa + Josh | Franklin Engagement Photographer

Sunday, November 27th, 2011

What do barns, off-roading, major league baseball, rings, and photography have in common? This engagement session! We started off in downtown Franklin getting some of the urban shots that fit Alyssa and Josh’s style before heading out to the property of a major league baseball star who is letting them have their wedding in this crazy awesome ‘barn’ he is having built. We put the 4-wheel drive in gear and went all over the mountain of property to get these awesome shots. Definitely not your everyday session!

Amy & Alex | Murfreesboro Engagement Photographer

Friday, November 25th, 2011

Amy and Alex came prepared with all kinds of ideas for this engagement session. We drove out to the secluded farmhouse they will have their wedding at and got some great shots around the private pond.

This pond was crazy emerald green and this session was right in the middle of fall but there was not a single leaf floating on the water.

Blake + Matt | Franklin Engagement Photographer

Thursday, November 17th, 2011

We felt like we were in another world as we headed out to this magical farm out in the middle of nowhere. The owner of 3rd Home let us come out for the day to his Hidden Creek Farm to spend time with the horses and get some great shots of the super cool buildings. Blake & Matt fit perfectly with the setting and they came prepared with all kinds of classy props! One of the horses as VERY interested in the camera and followed us around the fence just looking at it.

Mr. & Mrs. Hutson | Nashville Wedding Photographer

This was a couple that knew how to plan a wedding that fit them perfectly! From vintage decorations to action figure boutonnières, Sydney and Lucas had a wedding to remember. We kept finding cute little things the whole night that they had planned like a blindfolded first look, a Dwight Schrute bobble-head on their table, a banjo shaped groom’s cake, and mason jar wine glasses for the toast! Super fun wedding for a super fun couple!

Here are a couple of the vendors that made it all possible!

Location: Front Porch Farms (love this venue!)

Vintage decorations: Not Too Shabby Designs (Sydney and Lucas own this business!)

Music and DJ: Up all Night Productions

Food: Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ

Hair and Makeup: Amanda Morgan 615.812.7452

Bethany & Isaac | Nashville Engagement Photographer

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

What an adorable couple!  Bethany & Isaac got the ideal autumn day with their engagement session!  There was a coolness in the air without being too cold and the leaves were just gorgeous (as you can see)!  Their styles match so well, from personalities to outfits :)  Bethany & Isaac are tying the knot exactly one month from today – so thrilled for them!

Libby + Ben | Nashville Engagement Photographer

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Nyk and I had an awesome engagement session with Libby and Ben! We started off with trying to get some shots at Cheekwood that didn’t have people dressed up for Halloween in the background, we managed to work it out.  These two were natural models when it came to striking poses, they had it down! They wanted to finish their shoot at Centennial Park downtown Nashville because that is where Ben popped the question!

Lillian | Franklin Senior Photographer

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

OH my, check out this awesome senior!  Lillian was great at showing her style through this session – a violinist & baker at heart.  She currently works at Gigi’s Cupcakes (YUM!) and has many opportunities to preform her musical skills including a spot in the elite Curb Youth Symphony!  Lillian is planning on attending Lipscomb University next fall to pursue a business major with the intention of heading to culinary school afterwards – I can’t wait to visit her bakery one day :)  A fun little fact is that her apron is a one-of-a-kind design from Willow Stitch Aprons – so creative!  Enjoy the photos…
