Just in case you missed it… we were featured in Ashley’s Bride Guide End of the Year Roundup (Design + Decor favs)! Sydney & Lucas, one of our lovely couples this past year, own this creative little business called Not Too Shabby Designs. ABG especially loved their antique china plates and creative mason jars – everything blended so well for their wedding. Be sure to check out their work as well as endless ideas, articles, vender info, etc. on Ashley’s Bride Guide (<— We LOVE this site).

Check out this adorable girl! Remember the name because Ashley is coming out with a book soon! She needed headshots for the new book – and get this – she’s only 16! She said it started out as a school project and soared from there! It’s a Christian fiction book for teenagers – the title is A Week in the Life of Lillian and Dillian. When the website is ready, I’ll be sure to include that info for everyone.

Even though she just needed headshots, we took a few full length just for fun

My goodness – she looks amazing!

Best luck to you, Ashley! Can’t wait to see (and read) the finished product!
Many of you know I am involved with a camp in Smithville, TN that reaches out to underprivileged girls & boys. They not only give them an awesome summer camp (free of charge) but allow them to stay in contact the rest of the year with retreats & after school clubs. Lighthouse Christian Camp also ministers to the windows and orphans in the area by allowing them to actually live at the camp. It’s so great to see the Word of God lived out in obedience.
This past week I was able to help them out by photographing their ‘New Friends Dinner’ – a great way for people to come and get to know more about the camp. If you’d be interested in helping/sponsoring/praying for this Christ-led camp, feel free to contact me for more info. I was able to grab a shot of the camp founders, Ben & Ermeda Chapman, the amazing view from the camp as well as all those living there full-time. What a beautiful place!

Take a look at this lovely lady! Not only is she as sweet as can be, she is an oh-so-fabulous actress! I have had the privilege to see her in some of her productions and have thoroughly enjoyed watching her superb acting skills
Drew Ann came to me wanting to update her headshots – we had a great time showing off her personality – so fun! Check out these previews!

Good luck, Drew Ann!
Yes, I admit it.. I love when those coupon books comes in the mail. I get excited looking through them for a good place to eat or any other surprise discounts I may find! The past few months, I’ve been able to get on the other side of the Coupon Mint Magazine and help get a few shots for their ads from different business around town. I thought I’d share some of my photographs and you Nashville (and surrounding areas) peeps will have to keep an eye out for the magazine when it comes out! Woohoo!
First off, was the Ravenwood Country Club – these have already been published in the previous magazine as well…

Lookin’ fiiiine… they used this one (below) for the cover of the Davidson book.

The next place is at the Gyro Cafe in Smyrna – they were so nice and the food was excellent!

These last two photos are from the fabulous Mediterranean Cuisine over in Brentwood – SO GOOD! I highly recommend taking a trip over there for their scrumptious food!

Every year I like to spend some time out at Lighthouse Christian Camp in Smithville, TN. This is a fabulous camp that brings underprivileged kids for a whole week to minister to and love on. I was able to volunteer as a counselor for a week in June and had a lovely time being blessed by the girls!
It’s the camp’s 30th anniversary next year and they’re wanting to make a promo calendar to give to their many sponsors so they can see what the campers do all summer. What an awesome idea! I helped them out some last year and was able to get some current photos for them to this year to fill the 2011 calendar. I am so excited to see how the calendar turns out as well as see how many people are blessed by these smiling faces!
Here are just a few shots I got the day I went out there – aren’t those girls beautiful!

The day has finally come! My website is finally live and ready for viewing! Give ‘er a look and feel free to to extend it to your friends as well
I’m finishing up school in the next couple of weeks (yay!) and am so happy to dive full-time into this wonderful business. My time there has been amazing and oh so helpful. I’m very excited to see where this all takes me! I’ve added a few photos to this post as an appetizer to my site.. so go explore and share!
