The whole family flew in for the holidays for the Gordon family and they asked us to do a quick family session. It was a brisk December day at the Clover Bottom Mansion but they came prepared with matching sweaters and we ended up having a great time! They were cutting up and playing with each other as we went from location to location. We love seeing families that so visibly love each other!
Meet Mr. Colton. At just 7 weeks he was super cute & ready for a photo-op! His mom has been a great friend of mine since we were 5 & it’s crazy to think that now she now has her own little one! Their family has the opportunity to live in London for a few years so we were both excited that we could find some time before Colton left the country with his parents. Just look at that cute face – what a blessing he is to us all! I especially love how he copies the expression of his mommy – so sweet. Love you, little man!
Meet the Wiley family. They were wanting to get their family photos while the adorable Alex is at such a fun age and full of character – we had an awesome time doing just that! 
The Wiley’s are expecting a new little girl soon – it will be fun to see the reaction of Alex when she fully grasps what having a little sister means! The cotton fields were in full bloom at the Sam Davis Home and made for some great shots with Alex, we could have lost here in those fields with that blond hair!
This past Saturday was a time we set apart for families to come out to Clover Bottom Mansion and get their photos taken! We had SUCH a great time with new clients and those already near and dear to our hearts. Thank you ALL for filling us with smiles and laughter – YOU are the reason we do what we do!
Also, we loved experiencing all the different seasons of life in one day – what a blessing!
David ROCKED this senior shoot! We only had time for a mini-session to get some headshots, but we’re planning on a full-out shoot in a couple of months. David’s was adopted from Romania at age 3 and was my neighbor for 15 years – our families are wonderful friends. If you would, take some time to pray for David. He had a spider bite a couple months back leading to many infections & surgeries. He’s being treated in the hospital again today – I know he and his family are wanting this all to end SOON! So, if you would pray for his quick & lasting recovery, I know they would love it. THANKS! Keep rockin’, David. We love you

Lindsay came to me with a great idea of going back to her old high school to act as though they were still in grade school and have silly little crushes on each other. Only to find out that Raphael passes her a note asking her to marry him! (she marked the ‘yes’ box, of course 
) How cute!
We were even able to incorporate what they do (as a photographer/graphic designer and web developer) into the shoot. Since computers are a big part of their life, we added that aspect into the session as well as a pile of wedding books that Lindsay is in the midst of conquering! Though, through all of that work, you can see the beautiful love they have for one another – such a blessing to see such a committed couple!

The Hussung family recently had a lovely little addition to their sweet family. Miss Eliana was exactly one month old for this session and was workin’ her diva style even then Just wait ’til she gets older, dad! Isaac proved to be a little ham (when we could keep his attention away from the awesome sticks & branches around us, haha) but you could tell he loved having a new sister to share a spot in the frame. LOVE the photo of bro & sis together! Enjoy the previews, guys!

Every year I like to spend some time out at Lighthouse Christian Camp in Smithville, TN. This is a fabulous camp that brings underprivileged kids for a whole week to minister to and love on. I was able to volunteer as a counselor for a week in June and had a lovely time being blessed by the girls!
It’s the camp’s 30th anniversary next year and they’re wanting to make a promo calendar to give to their many sponsors so they can see what the campers do all summer. What an awesome idea! I helped them out some last year and was able to get some current photos for them to this year to fill the 2011 calendar. I am so excited to see how the calendar turns out as well as see how many people are blessed by these smiling faces!
