This lovely lady finished up high school THIS WEEK!  She’s off to Nossi College of Art to study none other than… photography!  She’s an aspiring artist and we were incredibly grateful to have the honor to take her senior photos :)  Bethany, we’re so excited to see where this adventure takes you!

Abby | Nashville Senior Photographer

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

This overcast November day turned out perfect for Abby’s senior session. We really enjoyed this location, it was new to us and just a few miles from Abby’s home. It was a pretty unusually busy rural road and we kept having to run to the side between shots so the cars could pass without running us over… but it was worth it!

Lillian | Franklin Senior Photographer

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

OH my, check out this awesome senior!  Lillian was great at showing her style through this session – a violinist & baker at heart.  She currently works at Gigi’s Cupcakes (YUM!) and has many opportunities to preform her musical skills including a spot in the elite Curb Youth Symphony!  Lillian is planning on attending Lipscomb University next fall to pursue a business major with the intention of heading to culinary school afterwards – I can’t wait to visit her bakery one day :)  A fun little fact is that her apron is a one-of-a-kind design from Willow Stitch Aprons – so creative!  Enjoy the photos…

Lanier | Nashville Senior + Family Photographer

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

LOVE this family!  Through high school & the beginning of college, I taught violin to their daughter, Mary Alex.  Since those lessons aren’t happening anymore we don’t get to see the Laniers on a regular basis – we were so excited to reunite with them for this session!  Not only is their son, Jackson, a strapping senior (we called him our J. Crew model – doesn’t he look great?!!) but they are moving from their home to live closer to their family, church, & school in Brentwood – good reasons if you ask me!  However, these were taken in their backyard - I know waking up to that view every morning will be missed!  Good luck to you all – blessings on your new adventures!

(If anyone is interested, this house if for sale off of McGavock Pike in Nashville)

Our Wonderful Clients!

Tuesday, September 27th, 2011

This past Saturday was a time we set apart for families to come out to Clover Bottom Mansion and get their photos taken!  We had SUCH a great time with new clients and those already near and dear to our hearts.  Thank you ALL for filling us with smiles and laughter – YOU are the reason we do what we do!

Also, we loved experiencing all the different seasons of life in one day – what a blessing!

2011 Graduate!

Friday, May 20th, 2011

David ROCKED this senior shoot!  We only had time for a mini-session to get some headshots, but we’re planning on a full-out shoot in a couple of months.  David’s was adopted from Romania at age 3 and was my neighbor for 15 years – our families are wonderful friends.  If you would, take some time to pray for David.  He had a spider bite a couple months back leading to many infections & surgeries.  He’s being treated in the hospital again today – I know he and his family are wanting this all to end SOON!  So, if you would pray for his quick & lasting recovery, I know they would love it.  THANKS!  Keep rockin’, David.  We love you :)

Oh my, it’s that time.. when little sister’s graduate and you realize that time has gone by quicker that you realized.  Anyway, we had such a lovely photo shoot – we scampered all around downtown Nashville getting some fun photos.  In a little while, I’ll be able to unleash her graduation announcements I designed!  Yay!  She has such a great taste for color (I’d like to take credit for some of that, hehe) which added nicely to our creativity.  Check out a few of the shots we got..
